What's in a name?

I've had several people ask me why I named my blog, Desi's Classroom Cafe.  The answer is actually quite simple....you ready for this....

I. LOVE. COFFEE!  

I drink a cup of coffee every single morning in my classroom.  My classroom has become my cafe :)

The Desi part is what my students' call me because they struggle with pronouncing my full last name - but I really don't mind.  

 So there you have it!  Exciting stuff, right?!

    Ridiculous coffee-lover here too. I have even bent the rules/found a loophole in my school's rule about no coffee pots in classrooms by getting a Keurig for my room.

    I am in the process of moving from a classroom I was in for 6 years...it's been quite the task! I do not have any pictures, but you might find inspiration on pinterest. Thanks for stopping in! If you get your room setup, I'd love to see a snapshot!
